FIND TOYTAPAは、地域の耕す人々（TOYTAPA）を紹介することをテーマとした情報発信活動です。北海道を中心に地域の魅力的な資源や活動を紹介し、豊かな「まちとくらし」をつくることを目指しています。
Find Toytapa is an information dissemination project intended to introduce people who cultivate their community. It focuses on local resources and activities mainly in Hokkaido to increase the number of people who relate to the charm of such a community.

ISSUE 1 : 耕す人々をみつけよう
「耕す」とは、作物を作るために田畑の土を堀り返すこと。土を柔らかくして中に空気を入れることで、土のなかの微生物が作物がのびのびと育つのを助けてくれるそうです。耕すことは、私たち人間が自然の循環に上手に乗るために、観察と経験から生み出した大きな発見だったのではないでしょうか。そして、その耕された土地は、人間だけではなく生態系全体で豊かさを保っていたはずです。
私たちの地域のなかには、自然の循環を観察し、つくることを暮らしの基盤にしている「トイタパ（耕す人々）」がいます。わたしたちtoytapa designは、このフリーペーパー『FIND TOYTAPA』を通して、彼らの暮らしの知恵を紡ぎ、次なる「豊かな暮らし」を構想する手掛かりを探りたいと考えています。
フリーペーパー第1号となる今号は、今後の取材の出発点として「耕す人々をみつけよう」をテーマに、耕す人々を探す意義を考えました。今の暮らしの当たり前を少し見つめ直して、新しい豊かさに繋がるヒントを探したいと思います。
To cultivate the fields means to turn over the soil to grow crops. By softening the soil and letting air in, microorganisms in the soil facilitate the growth of crops. Field cultivation may have been a major discovery of humanity made through observations and experiences to take advantage of the cycle of nature. Cultivated fields have helped humanity and ecosystems alike to thrive.
There are toytapa in our community who earn their living by making things while keeping an eye on the cycle of nature. Through this free newspaper, entitled Find Toytapa, we will highlight their wisdom for daily living to find clues to design fuller lives going forward.
To mark the launch of our news gathering activities, the inaugural issue of this free newspaper focuses on the significance of finding people who cultivate their community under the theme of Find Toytapa. We review things we have long taken for granted to find clues to living fuller lives.
